About "Random Emotion"

The emotions are selected randomly, with equal probability for all emotions. The emotions come from the chart below which was created by Dr. Marshall Rosenberg.
Clicking the "Random Emotion" button in the heading, or reloading the web page, will select a new random emotion.
You can page through the most recent 20 emotions that have been selected by clicking on the buttons in the lower part of the window.
This app is used by its author for a daily sharing time to strengthen the emotional connection in a marriage. It is called "the daily's" and is used as follows:
- One partner is assigned a random emotion.
- They share a recent time when they have experienced that emotion.
- Then they share a time when they were growing up when they experienced that emotion.
- Then the other partner shares if they learned anything new about their partner.
- Pick a new emotion and switch rolls.
- Each partner shares an attribute about their partner that they admire, including a recent event that demonstrates that attribute.
- The partners pray together.
The history and statistics of the selected emotions are stored in the web browser's "local storage" on your local computer. If you delete the web page's "local storage", all history and statistics will be lost. No data or information from this web page is ever communicated back to the server.
